General Information
The Human Resources Department is a part of Delta County Administration and is charged with the oversight of personnel activities for the County.  Responsibilities of the Human Resources Department include:
  • Receiving, processing and screening of job applications
  • Assisting County Departments in the hiring of qualified employees
  • Develop and update position and classifications and descriptions
  • County compensation and benefit programs
  • Develop, revise, and assure compliance with Delta County Personnel Policies
  • Processing and oversight of workers’ compensation claims
  • Compliance with State and Federal regulations pertaining to employment
  • Coordination of employee training programs
