The Delta County Tobacco
Education Coalition is a community-based organization that is dedicated to
increasing awareness about the dangers of tobacco use. The program provides
information and resource materials to support prevention of tobacco use in
youth and adults, increase awareness of the dangers of secondhand smoke, as
well as referral information for cessation resources to members of our
community. Our staff members are available for speaking/education at
community events, schools, churches and to all organizations in the county.
All services and materials are free to Delta County residents. We also have
an extensive lending library of health education materials like brochures,
videos, and models of the effects of tobacco on the lungs as well as the
effects of chewing tobacco.
